Upcoming Summer Events

We’re excited to announce our upcoming summer events:

• June 21 – Come join us for the classic E.T. - The Extraterrestrial at Merwin Meadows Park. Food and drink are welcome. No alcohol or dogs allowed. Movie begins at 8:30 PM.

• June 23 – The Willie and Jan Band will perform their favorites from the 60’s, 70’s and more. Merwin Meadows park – 5:00 PM http://www.willienininger.com/-ARPages/WillieJanBand.html

• June 30 – The Present Company Band showcases their classic rock prowess with a setlist that’s suitable for everyone in the family. Merwin Meadows park – 5:00 PM https://presentcompany.rocks/

• July 4 – Parks and Recreation’s annual 4^th of July festivities includes the Freedom Run Road Race at 8am (beginning at the WHS stadium). Registration can be found at the below link. The Republicans vs Democrats softball games kicks off at 12pm. Dance to the Music DJ will provide music from 5:00 PM up until the fireworks, which will launch around 9:15 PM.

• July 21 – The Tom Duffy Band, supported by the department’s own Mike Pirre, plays an eclectic mix of classic hits and deep cuts. They will perform at Merwin Meadows park outdoor stage – 5:00 PM. http://www.tomduffy.band/

• August 11 – One Bad Oyster’s ska-surf style music is a sure hit for all ages. They will wrap up the summer concert series at Merwin Meadows park – 5:00 PM. https://onebadoyster.com/
