Process Review Committee

The Process Review Committee was established in part to respond to a Material Weakness reported in the Town’s most recent Federal Single Audit Report for the year ended June 30, 2024. The Committee's task is limited to drafting a Scope of Work and Request for Proposal (RFP), as appropriate, and recommending to the Board of Selectmen and Board of Finance a qualified consultant to execute a limited review of the Town's key financial operational processes to identify operational improvements, enhance service delivery, and strengthens internal controls over financial reporting. Upon selection of the consultant, the Process Review Committee’s work will conclude and execution of the consultant's engagement will be overseen by Wilton's Board of Finance ensuring appropriate governance, independent oversight and public transparency of the consultant's findings
