WARNING - FAKE INVOICE EMAILS

The Town has been made aware of scammers requesting wire transfers as a form of payment regarding Land Use applications.  These fake invoices are a state-wide problem, not limited to Wilton.  You should not engage or make contact.  Please contact the appropriate Land Use Department to verify the legitimacy of any request.  It is important to note that we do not request payment after a decision has been made on an application and we never send invoices by email.  Payment for an application is made up front, at the time of the application, by established methods.

The Inland Wetlands Commission was established to conserve, protect, supervise, and regulate the wetlands and watercourses within the Town of Wilton. 

The Commission is comprised of seven members who serve in three year terms.  Board member information (seats, terms, etc) is available here.  To contact a Board member, click on a name below.

The Commission is responsible for administering the Inland Wetlands and Watercourse Regulations for the Town. The Commission reviews applications on all land use projects within wetlands, and watercourses within the regulated areas adjacent to them (100 ft.).  The Commission also pursues violations and the corresponding corrective action.

**Please follow the following additional steps when submitting an Application to the Office of the Commission: Once you have completed the application in OpenGov, and gathered the required supporting materials, please deliver one paper copy of the Application Form and materials to the Town Hall Annex during office hours (drop box no longer available).
