Wilton Capital Planning Committee (Formerly Town and School Needs Assessment/Priorities Committee)
Mission of the Committee:
The Wilton Capital Planning Committee (WCPC) is established to help the Town of WIlton prioritize substantial capital needs, as identified in both the Town and School Needs Assessment reports. Our mission is to develop a strategic, fiscally responsible framework for addressing these needs in coordination with the Boards of Selectmen, Finance and Education.
The Committee is tasked with identifying short, medium and long-term bonded capital priorities, and recommending a 2027 Bonded Capital Improvement Plan, along with a recommendation on a 5-year and 15-year plan. This planning will be guided by the level of bonding, debt service and/or other available internal funding sources the town can afford and will serve as a guide for aligning capital investments with community needs and resources.
