Town of Wilton Tax Collector’s Office: July 2026 Tax Bill Notice

Please be advised of the following important information regarding the upcoming tax billing cycle:

Mailing Date: Tax bills will be mailed out on June 29, 2026.

Due Date: Taxes are due on July 1, 2026. Please note that payments cannot be accepted prior to this date.

Delinquency Date: Payments must be received or postmarked by August 3, 2026, to avoid being marked delinquent.

Online Access & Payments: Starting July 1, 2026, all bills will be available online to view and pay.

What to do if you do not receive your bill:
If you have not received your physical bill in the mail by July 10, 2026, please look it up online or contact our office directly.

 The Tax Collector’s office is responsible for collecting tax revenue on all taxable property in its jurisdiction in the Town of Wilton. 

Taxes are determined by multiplying the net assessed value of taxable property by a mill rate. Under the General Statutes, the Tax Collector is responsible for calculating, issuing, collecting, and managing property tax receivables. Under the Town Charter and ordinances, the Tax Collector has the same responsibilities for sewer and water capital assessments and sewer user charges.
