The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) is quasi-judicial board that is statutory empowered to grant relief from the strict enforcement of the Zoning Regulations, provided that a unique hardship concerning the land in question can be demonstrated. In addition, the Board is charged with hearing appeals where it is alleged that the Zoning Enforcement Officer has erred in making a decision, issuing an order or correctly interpreting the zoning regulations.
